Feral Drifters @ Care-full Design Lab
AUS
Care-full Design Lab is a widely open menagerie of wildly roaming creatures … or inquisitive, creative researchers and practitioners who endeavour to see the wonders and perils of the present, and with humility, practice transdisciplinary collaboration centred on creating conditions for care-full encounters, engagements, and futures. Feral Drifters @ Care-full Design Lab include Kate Geck, artist who works with code and textiles to create interactive surfaces and immersive spaces that can help reimagine human computer interaction to mindfully engage the body, drawing on somaesthetics; Jaz Hee-jeong Choi, Director of the lab, who’s also responsible for all things feral in the EU H2020 CreaTures project, and; Siobhan McCarthy, a wizard who mixes film, performance, and diagramming to understand and problematise digital-physical relations.
